1. Amount of Protein.

If you do not get enough protein in your diet, your body will begin rationing the protein it does have available, potentially reducing hair growth. A 3-ounce serving of salmon has 5.4 grams of fat, 2.2 grams of which are omega-3 polyunsaturated fats.

It also helps your body make red blood cells and is responsible for producing hemoglobin and myoglobin.
