What is the date and milk diet?

The date and milk diet has some positive aspects when followed for a short period of time, such as:

1. It contains a low percentage of cholesterol, as dates and milk contain very little cholesterol and fats.

The negatives of the date and milk diet.

Dates and milk diet has many drawbacks and disadvantages, here are the most important ones:

1. Lacking in nutrients, although dates and milk contain various nutrients, they are not sufficient to supply the body with its daily needs of various nutrients.

2. Following the date and milk diet for a relatively long period of time, that is, more than 3-5 days, causes many health complications and damages.

3. The date and milk diet is one of the low-protein diets, as it provides the body with only about 21 grams of protein per day, which is a very scarce amount.

4. A person feels while following this type of diet, severe fatigue resulting from poor nutrition and the body’s lack of sufficient nutrients.

5. The date and milk diet is a bit boring, as the person who follows it is forced to eat only two food ingredients for several days in a row.
