How to make samosa.

samosa is one of the favorite light side dishes for a large proportion of people, as it is characterized by delicious taste, speed and ease of preparation, and its varieties differ, so it can be filled with meat, vegetables or cheese.

It is one of the main dishes in the Ramadan table.

_ How to make samosa pastry.

🔹Dough ingredients.

▪️ Four cups of flour.

▪️ hundred grams of melted butter.

▪️ egg.

▪️ pinch of salt.

▪️ 1/4 cup of warm water.

🔻Prepare the dough.

_ In a deep bowl, put the egg, oil, salt, and flour, then add the water, then knead well using the hand until we have a soft and cohesive dough.

_ Cover the dough bowl, then set it aside for a period of not less than an hour until it ferments and doubles in size.

_ How to make samosa.

▪️Samosa with meat.

Samosa is one of the most well-known Ramadan appetizers in Arab countries.


▪️ 1 roll of samosa.

▪️ ½ kilo of ground meat.

▪️ 2 onions.

▪️ 2 tablespoons of ghee.

▪️One tablespoon of meat.

▪️ spoonful of salt.

▪️Spoonful of black pepper.

▪️One tablespoon of flour.

▪️ ¼ cup of water.

🔻Method of preparation.

_ We put the ghee in a bowl on the fire and put the meat and spices on it and stir well, then put the chopped onion on it and continue stirring until it is done.

_ We wait long enough for the meat to cool down and fill the samosa pieces in the form of a triangle, or in the form of fingers, as desired.

_ After you have finished filling the samosa pieces completely, put a spoonful of flour and water in a small bowl until we get a sticky mixture for you to seal the samosa pieces with.

_ Put it in abundant and very hot oil for 30 seconds.

▪️ Samosa with cheese and mint.


▪️ Four tablespoons of white cheese.

▪️ Four tablespoons of grated mozzarella cheese.

▪️ 1 teaspoon dry mint.

▪️ 1 tablespoon of corn oil for the filling.

🔻Method of preparation.

_ In a bowl mix white cheese, mozzarella cheese, mint, and oil well until the ingredients are homogeneous.

_ Put a spoonful of the filling mixture on the end of each slice, then roll it in the shape of a triangle.

_ Heat in an oil frying pan over a high heat, then place the samosa pastry until golden.

_ Take out the samosa from the oil, then put it on a paper towel so that the excess oil is absorbed from it.

▪️ Samosa with vegetables.


▪️ Potatoes:

3 pieces (peeled, boiled and cut into small cubes)

▪️ Vegetable oil: 2 tablespoons.

▪️ Onions: 1 piece (chopped).

▪️ Garlic: 3 cloves (minced).

▪️ Ginger: 1 teaspoon (fresh).

▪️ Peas: 12 cup (boiled).

▪️ Carrots: Half a cup(grated).

▪️ Green Hot Peppers: 2 pods (thinly sliced).

▪️ Curry: 2 teaspoons.

▪️Turmeric: half a teaspoon.

▪️Salt: 1 teaspoon.

▪️ green coriander: 2 tablespoons (chopped).

🔻Method of preparation.

_ Heat the oil in a saucepan and add onions, garlic, and ginger, and stir for 3 minutes.

_ Add the potatoes, peas, carrots and pepper and stir the mixture on high heat for 3 minutes.

_ Add the curry, turmeric, salt, sugar, and coriander and stir then remove it from the heat and leave it aside until it cools.

_ We stuff the samosa pieces with the filling and close it in a triangular shape.
