Georgia is a Transcaucasian country, situated at the dividing line of the continents of Asia and Europe. It is located in the far south eastern region of the European continent. Georgia is positioned both in the Northern and Eastern hemispheres of the Earth. It is bordered by 4 countries: by Russia in the north and northeast; by Azerbaijan in the east and southeast; and by Armenia and Turkey in the south. Georgia is also bounded by the Black Sea in the west.

Georgia occupies an area of 69,700 sq. km (26,900 sq mi).

18)Armenia :

Armenia is a landlocked country, located in the south of Caucasus mountain range (south eastern region of Europe or Western Asia) and facing the north western part of Asia. Armenia is situated in the Northern and Eastern hemispheres of the Earth.  It is bounded by Georgia in the north, Azerbaijan in the east, Iran in the southeast and Turkey in the west.

Note: Armenia views itself as a part of Europe; geopolitically, it can be classified as falling within Europe, the Middle East or both.

Armenia covers an area of 29,743 sq. km (11,484 sq mi) in Eurasia’s South Caucasus region. It is a landlocked country.

19)Azerbaijan :

Azerbaijan is located at the junction of Eastern Europe and Western Asia along the southern flanks of the Caucasus Mountains. It is situated both in the Northern and Eastern hemispheres of the Earth. Azerbaijan is bordered by Russia in the north, Georgia in the northwest, Armenia in the west, and Iran in the south. It is bounded in the east by the Caspian Sea.

Azerbaijan is a country covering 86,600 km2 (33,400 sq mi) in the Caucasus region of Eurasia.
